Who am I
my name is Remo Saleri, I am a mechanical expert and a designer. I have always been passionate about engines especially those for motorcycles and this passion of mine, common to many people, has also led me to disassemble and reassemble different engines. The curiosity and the art of making arrangements that my family passed on to me led me to tinker with engines sometimes with disastrous but sometimes encouraging results. While I was reading an article on supercharged engines in the journal "Motocycling" a question arose in me: since it was born in 1853 the engine has remained almost the same in its basic structure (derived substantially from steam engines ) while significant developments have been made regarding the optimization of the mixture and the study of turbulence (for example thanks to the injectors or the adoption of 4 or 5 valves in the head). All this has led to designers having to face increasing problems due to the need to insert many components in very small spaces and very complex projects. So I asked myself:
WHAT IF WE SHOULD STOP THE BOWLING AND TAKE A STEP BACK?
